Billiards

A slate for recording the names of the Members who desire to play shall be provided for each Billiards Table. When a table becomes vacant in the absence of the Members whose name is first on the slate, it may be claimed by the Member whose name stands second. A game already in progress can be continued till the expiry of the time limit. No table shall be engaged by the same players for a period exceeding half an hour unless there are no other players waiting.

A Member may play with a Marker at a prescribed charge. However the marker shall not play with a Member if another Member of the Club wishes to play unless a game already begun is unfinished. In such a case, the Marker must vacate the court immediately upon completion of the game when requested by a waiting member. If a Member or his guest damages the cloth of the table the Member shall be liable for a minimum penalty of Rs.500/- or higher as the Committee may decide. The concerned Member will also sign for the damage, he or his guest has caused to the table, immediately after the incident. Children under the age of 16 years are not permitted to play on the Billiards Tables. Children over 16 years shall be permitted to play Billiards and snooker.
